... that ends well - but only in connection with the 2011/2012 cyclocross season... After gaining the national champion title, my aim can't have been anaything else but win the last round of SuperCross CX series. ![]()

Brrr, it was the coldest race in the season - as we, Hungarians say, the smile almost got frozen on my face. But I didn't really mind, as all is well that ends well: I managed to win my first National Champion title in Cyclocross! ![]()

The source of my joy was doubled because the win was gained after a hard "warship", it was not a simpe start-to finish lonely ride at all.
... which was as good as a home-made cake. However, it is always the cook who knows how much work has been put it in. And yes, it's never easy to organize a race - especially when your own expectations are very high.
But at least the participants (at leas those who I talked to) were pleased to be here in Balassagyarmat, and that's what make our small team of organizers happy and contented. So even if our "cake" was not the best-looking, it was delicious. ![]()

To our great happiness and surprise, many Slovakian CX riders visited us, among whom Milan Barenyi, who got the cup of the elite race. As for the women's race, the cup stayed here "at home" with me, although Gabi Módos and Zuzana Vojtásová had been working hard to receive it. ![]()
